Flywheel, Cloud-driven Medical Radiology

Imbio is a startup which specializes in tailoring technology to medical applications, particularly within the fields of radiology and, more specifically, image biomarker algorithms.

To this end, Imbio designed Flywheel in 2012, a cloud-computing platform for researchers and medical radiologists. As the lead experience designer in the project I helped develop the complex information architecture, laid out the interaction experience with the different personas and also designed the experience story for educational and promotional purposes. Finally, I developed a visual design language to unify the application as well as promotional web interfaces into a single, consistent experience.
