This is something I am seeing more and more amongst certain sections of (mostly uneducated) youth population in Spain. As ignorance extends due to cuts in the education budgets, more and more young Spaniards abandon the healthier mediterranean diet we grew up with in favor of the fast food culture reflected in the hollywood movies they consume, which present a shinier, mythical view of the USA where everything and anything is better than what they have or even what they are. Very sad.
