2012: Anglicizing an iPhone App

Bastos Inform√°tica S.A. is a Spanish veteran from the IT industry that has been commercializing a successful personal finance app for desktop for over 25 years. This app recently hit the market for mobile and, although currently enjoying a moderate success in the Spanish-European field, has not make a significant impact in the US. Jaime Bastos approached me to help them make their product successful in this environment, very different from it’s original launching ground. Bastos also decided to take this chance and re-evaluate the product, not just at the brand level, which I was tasked with, but also from a UX perspective, an initiative I am also happy to say I am currently leading. It’s not often that a designer has the opportunity to participate in such an integrated effort to improve the product and I am very excited with the progress made so far.
