2011: Action Analytics, Data Visualization

From 2011 to 2012, Capella University retained my services as lead interaction and visual designer for a high profile analytics system devised to help visualize complex internal data accessed by a variety of different academic stakeholders. I was responsible for the analysis, evaluation and translation of internal performance metrics in use amongst faculty and learners. By creating innovative information display paradigms that spoke to the different personas, I was able to bridge the gap that existed in the way different parts of the University interpreted a diverse body of interrelated content. A new system that serves data of varying degrees of complexity dependent on user request is now in the process of being tested, fine-tuned and broadly implemented.
